Glad I'm not a UPS guy

So, my 'rents sent me a Yule package o'love today, and an order of dog food stuff that I ordered for Lobo was also supposed to be delivered UPS. The package o'love arrived safe and sound around 5:30pm the other package still lists "out for delivery". Dude, it's like 9:20pm. I think it's not coming. Seriously, it's a 50 lb box, it's not like you can misplace it.

So, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Christmas, or Yule or whatever, and I won't die if you say "Merry Christmas" to me, but I sure the hell don't get what the fuss is about on the "Happy Holidays" thing being the "WAR!ON!CHRISTMAS!" give me a break. Anyway, this pretty well sums it up F*** Christmas

Old Fashioneds all around

Old Fashioned recipe
2 oz bourbon whiskey
2 dashes Angostura® bitters
1 splash water
1 tsp sugar
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange wedge

Mix sugar, water and angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass. Drop in a cherry and an orange wedge. Muddle into a paste using a muddler or the back end of a spoon. Pour in bourbon, fill with ice cubes, and stir.
